Reef Resort Vava'U caters to upmarket clientele with bungalow-style accommodations opposite the Japanese Coral Garden. The resort is located 25 km from Lupepau'u. The on-site gourmet restaurant offers contemporary Polynesian European cuisine with a panorama view over the turquoise lagoon. The international chef sources fresh produce, with a focus on seafood, from the local market. Complimentary catamaran or boat trips to the Japanese Coral Garden are available. Complimentary wetsuits are provided. Whales may be seen from the resort during the annual breeding season from July to October. The resort is perfectly located for other excursions.
